HEM provides comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for high-voltage transformer substations up to 220 kV. We deliver turnkey solutions for greenfield projects and the modernization of existing brownfield assets, ensuring seamless grid synchronization and operational safety.
Scope of Works:
- System Design & Engineering: Development of single-line diagrams (SLD), physical layouts, and grounding system designs. Engineering includes short-circuit current calculations, insulation coordination, and protection relay settings (CT/VT sizing).
- Primary & Secondary Equipment Procurement: Sourcing and integration of power transformers, gas-insulated (GIS) or air-insulated (AIS) switchgear, circuit breakers, and instrument transformers. We ensure all components meet stringent IEC and utility-specific standards.
- Protection, Automation & Control (PAC): Implementation of Substation Automation Systems (SAS) based on IEC 61850 protocols. This covers the installation of Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) for protection, control, and real-time monitoring of substation parameters.
- Installation & Commissioning: Civil works, equipment mounting, and high-voltage cabling. Final delivery includes rigorous site acceptance testing (SAT), including dielectric tests and functional logic verification, prior to energization.
